Service Question

I did a quick search but could not find anything. I have a xcal 2 with a AF1 installed. I understand I have to take the truck back to the stock tune but is it ok to leave the AF1 on? I have read about the engine lights coming on do to the truck running lean while running intake tubes. Thanks for your help.

Hi DGG,

That depends on which AF1 kit you have - if it is the 3.0" setup, then you can run it on the stock tune, it will not lean out the engine. But if you have the 3.25" version of the AF1, then you should not run that on the stock tune, as it will lean out the motor.

You can easily determine this by pulling the AF1 and measuring the diameter where it connects to the rubber boot just before the throttle body - or, you can just call us and we'll look that up for you, OK?

Good luck!
