I sent an e-mail to edge, I was jsut wondering if anybody else would be interested in this.

Take the edge evolution, remove all the computer re-programming stuff except maybe the tire size recalibrater, and keep just the gauge readouts. That way those of us who don't want to worry about warranty issues or are happy with the trucks performance and just want the temperature readouts can get one.

 

Just buy the Edge Evolution and don't load any performance tunes.

 

 

Why not buy gauges?

 

Multiple gauges for all the parameters the evolution has to offer would take up most of the dash, plus it would involve a bunch of extra wiring.

I almost agree with buying the programmer and not running the programs, but I believe a lot of people would be interested in a monitering system like that without all the bells and whistles. A stripper model could possibly be much cheaper and could even have the possibility of buying the programs for it at some later date.
