nice additon to the tune

picked up the beast from the dealer today- my buddy-head mechanic installed ud pullies-things i noticed-
1-revs much faster!
2-feels much peppier!
3-part throttle driving is ENHANCED
4-when i jump on it- really seems to leap forward more
-so far very pleased-much lighter than oem piece!

i had to use a smaller belt on my van- i have a like new stock size 1,000 mile gatorback belt i can't use-whoever has belt chirp and wants this belt can have it- just pay shipping-i'll post any mpg gains-phil

Hi Phil,

Glad to hear you got the pulleys on, excellent!!

It may just be that with the way those vans are set up, you get a bit more power gain from the pulleys compared to say, a "normal" F-150 does - I really don't have solid data on that, I;d have to know the exact weight of the stock fan as well as the diameters of all the various pulleys, to see if there is any *additional* reduction in parasitic losses in vans compared to the F-150's due to original factory configuration.

The bottom line is, the underdrive pulleys do indeed work well, and you do get more HP & torque all the time, at any throttle position, which is always nice.

Congrats & have fun!
