SF is from what I can tell, a Canned Tuner and XCal2 is a Custom Tuner

That would make since, their comp.to the edge.I didn't look in the discription that there are tunes involved just that it can store 4 + stock tune,I noticed it lower on the page.It does not matter to me as long as they hook us up with an onboard monitor system.
technology moves to quick for this oldman

Hi TSDan,

No, that device is not something "different," it's the exact same hardware as the XCalibrator 2 - only it comes with weaker "canned" tunes, not the kind of much more powerful custom tunes that we do in the XCalibrator 2.

The device you are talking about looks identical to the XCalibrator 2, as that is what it is, only it is Part# 9415 - and it can be converted to a regular XCalibrator 2 that can take our custom tunes - in fact, a lot of people who buy them send them in to us to get our custom tuning for their vehicles, so that they get much better performance gains.

So it's basically what you could call, for lack of a better term, an "off the shelf" type of device that comes loaded with with standard "canned" tunes like any other off-the-shelf device - only what's really nice is that you can convert it to take our custom tunes by sending it in to us - as always, there will be a significant difference in what it delivers versus what we deliver in our custom tunes - which is why most people end up coming to us for our custom tunes.
