I came up on a Superchips Programmer Part # 1714. on the superchips website it says that it will only work on 04 model year. I have an 06, and it doesnt show any programmer, Will this work with my truck or will i have to post it in the classifieds.

As advertised, the 1714 will work ONLY on the 2004 models - so no, it will not work on any other model year - not 2003's, not 2005's, not 2006's, etc.
I has always been advertised and was designed to work only with the 2004 models, so you will need something different for your 2006.

If you are actually interested in getting the best results, you will be much happier with what we do in our *custom* tuning, and will also get a far more advanced tuner, as well - the difference between our custom F-1560 tuning and the "standard" Superchips tuning is pretty much night & day, especially the overall driveability and raw power gains.

A few months ago, we did a public dyno day where a lot of F-150 Online members like yourself came to see what the Superchips 1714 & some other off-the-shelf type products did, versus what our custom tuning did - everyone was amazed at the difference.

I would suggest that you offer that 1714 for sale in the F-150 Online free Classified Ads section, as there are always people looking for a bargain there, so at the right price, it should move quickly - of course, I'm assuming that you already have that unit, so if you don't, forgive me - it was just a suggestion.
