1st tank full, on the XCal2

Well, after one tank (20 gallons, I don't let it get below 1/4 on the gauge), I have noticed an extra pep in the step. 87 Max tune for now. I averaged 13.75 MPG this first tank. My truck usually runs between 12.5 and 14.5 MPG normally. I tried really hard not to get after it too much, but found myself flooring it a handful of times. I'm gonna run on 87 another tank or 2 to get a good gauge on the current tune, then step up to the 91 Max and see what the difference is, power & MPG wise. We shall see....

Thanks for the update Krohbar.

I like to know if the Xcal2 will increase the MPG.

You think the 87 is good...wait until you load the 91...It's like you didnt even have a tune loaded with the 87! Completely different, and a lot more noticeable....as far as mpg..Don't expect much...just because your foot tends to get heavier

If you dont already have an intake, you dont know what you are missing...the xcal2/intake combo will blow you away

Yeah, soemthing tells me I should have ordered the AF1 when I did the tuner... I may wait to datalog / dyno until after I get that, but that's a later in the year project. Going to cost me extra, I know...

I can't wait until I need to fill up again (it won't be long ) because I'm gonna ONLY run 91 octane for the perfomance tune.
