Chip or program???

HEy everyone i was wondering whether a chip or programming a truck was more efficient. I could care less about cost, but which adds most hp, and does either help gas mileage.... everyone knows fords are hard on gas lol. I wouldnt trade mine for the world, only for a lightning. thanks for any comments.

Super charge it. Get a custom tune to get the most out of your truck. I have the Edge and love it but dont think Id beat a hemi.

Hello hemislayer,

If you want to get the best results, that is had with or custom tuning - we've specialized in performance tuning the F-150 longer than anyone else, over 14 years, and are well known for getting the most safe & sustainable power from them. In fact, we just had another F-150 Online dyno event this past weekend at our shop, and the members were amazed at what we were able to do to their trucks with our tuning.

Now as to whether or not you can actually be a true "hemislayer" with your truck - that all gets down to a matter of the exact configuration and power to weight ratio of each vehicle - is the Hemi a half-ton, 3/4, or 1-ton truck? 2WD or 4WD? What mods does it have, if any?

Generally speaking, all else being equal, if you have a 2004 or newer 5.4 3V F-150 of the same basic configuration & weight of the Hemi you want to run, out tuning will make you able to dust if off handily - that has been reported by numerous members here.

Please feel free to give us a call to go over this in more detail if you like, our number is listed below & we'll be happy to take care of making sure you get the most from that vehicle's performance!
