Question F-150 Programming Sequences

I have found a couple of articles that discuss how to enable/disable the auto-lock system, and the beltminder system on the F150. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any more. By the way, the instructions to disable the beltminder system did not work on my '05 F150. In fact, while I was trying the procedure, I buckled/unbuckled the seatbelt 3 more times than required and my AIRBAG indicator lit up! A couple more buckle/unbuckles and the AIRBAG indicate started blinking! Now I have no idea of what I may have done but I would like know more. Or must I buy one of those "tuner" things?

Sounds like you were doing it right. I disabled both driver and passenger side "Beltminder" warnings from info on this site. I don't totally remember the sequence so see if this helps.

Turn truck to "On" postition....don't start.
Within the time the seatbelt icon appears, buckle/unbuckle 9 times (I think in 90 sec)
After the ninth time, the Airbag icon appears slowly blinking...buckle/unbuckle 3 times (I think in 10 sec)
After the 3rd time, the Airbag blinks fast, buckle/unbuckle 1 more time.
The Airbag light should go out.

You have to do this to both front seats if you want it disabled on both of 'em.

Hope this helps, don't forget the Reputation points

Thanks for the reassurance. I do feel better knowing that I didn't disable my airbag or something worse.

Are you aware of any other programming sequences?

Also, I am a newbie...what are reputation points ?
