Xcal2 vs Edge again

To ALL,

This is not a fair comparison any way you slice it.

Edge is generic programmer that should classified with Diablo , 1715 and Hypertech not Xcal2

Xcal2 is done by the god of tuning Mike Troyer and he can make it for a radical supercharged vehicle or a daily driver that is going to take your kids to school.

I think everyone is comparing the two because Xcal2 is the best and Edge just came out ; but it is not a fair comparison at all.

Just to let everyone know. I have neither but plan on getting the Edge for the performance and the gauges. I like the gauges. My truck is a daily driver so I think the difference in performance would be minimal. My truck will never make it to the race track unless I am pulling my WS6 , but will have my 2year old son in there everyday.

I got mine because the dealer had no updated flash for my truck and it had no passing gear and no power off the line. I drive around with a 11 month old son and a 3 year old. 0-60 and 1/4 mile times are the last thing on my mind. The Edge makes a big difference and the guages are great. I dont even look at my instrument cluster any more accept to check fuel. My truck is fun to drive now and I only drive on the 87 tune. Great product.

Kool -- typically I'd delete that pic but, in this case, I'll allow it....

I did, however, delete a slew of posts that offered no 'substance' to this thread.

RockPick;I think in your censorship ideas, you happen to miss the comedic aspect of things as they relate to a thread.I understand that you have guidelines, but on this xcal2/edge issue they are way to tight IMO.Now if you don't want to hear our opinions then maybe it is time for us closet comedians to just read, not try to put a little laughter into the thread. To be honest I feel that this is just plain unamerican.Have we as Americans lost enough already.TSdan

Censorship is un-American...in a public setting. This forum is private property, therefore censorship is appropriate if the owner of the forum has decided to use it...

Thanks for your input TSD... notes taken and accepted and filed. This banter has gone WAY beyond comedic though... walk a mile in my shoes and you won't have the same 'unamerican' opinion.
