Top Tuning Specialists

I read a post a while back that someone, I think SCT, had published a list of the top tuning specialists. Can anyone confirm this and tell me where to find it?

The reason I ask is that there is a performance shop here in Houston that is selling the Xcal II for a very good price which includes custom tuning after 3 dyno runs. I just don't know if they are reputable.

I'm not personally aware of any such list being published, but in terms of F-150 tuning, we have specialized in F-150 tuning longer than anyone else, 14+ years, which is why most F-150 owners come to us for their tuning & many other performance needs. We have also participated in more SCT Advanced training than any other SCT dealer, though that in itself doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot - it's really more a matter of experience on the individual vehicle platform.

It's important to remember that you really don't want to shop for tuning based primarily on price - though everyone wants a fair price of course, no world-class tuner is going to give away their tuning - just some food for thought.

If you'd like to hear more about what we can do for your vehicle, please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below - and best of luck whatever you decide!

mw1063 I would talk to a few of the customers from the local tuner that your looking at and see if they are happy with there results...do your research before you make a decision otherwise you might regret it

there are many dealers out there that can get you the results that your looking for...there is only one vendor that posts in this section and you wont get any input from other tuners in this section....there are more tuners in the L section...you can also search for dealers on SCT's website

The BEST tune is with the tuner there in person on the dyno (mustang dyno is perfered). What part of town are you in? What tuner are you looking at? Give me a shout and I can help you out. Not all tuners are straight up and not all know what they are doing. That being said I don't think there is any one above them all. I would think SCT would have a list of vendors/tuners in the area though.

I thought Bill from the Edge posted in this section of the forums also.

What are you REALLY trying to say?
