Umm, prices are not supposed to be talked about here but unfortunately you just missed the Group Buy Deal from Troyer Performace. Go to his website and check out the pricing.
For some reason on his SuperChips webpage, it only lists the first 10 items he sells and it doesn't list the XCal II price. However, at the bottom of the page, my mouse cursor turns to a finger (representing a link) that will go to the page with the XCal II. It just doesn't show the link.
You can check out the Group Buy thread located in the "basement" towards the bottom of this website. Maybe, juuuuuust maybe, he'll still hook you up.
The XCal II isn't a "chip" in the traditional sense, but a "tuner" that is custom tuned by per your specific set up, vehicle, mods, etc.
You don't *have* to use special fuel, Troyer can make a tune for ANY fuel you want to burn.....however, for best performance you'll want to use at least 91 octane (the highest where I'm at) or 93 octane if available.
I have an XCal II on order and have the 3 tunes as follows. 87 octane performance, 91 octane tow and 91 octane performance. You of course keep the stock tune if needed (ie. going to dealership for warranty work).
Feel free to do a "Search" about XCal II and you will find almost unlimited information about it! Literally
You can even call 'em up @ 540.862.9515 and their excellent customer service will right away sell you on one!
Good luck.
