What IS happening? You've updated once already, so I'll assume you have the drivers loaded correctly. Does the Lightning software update? If not, you may want to go to the Edgeproducts website, follow the links for updates for teh evolution and download the latest full install version of the Lightning software (about10.5mb). It is a setup file, download it to the EdgeProducts folder on your harddrive. Once downloaded run the setup file and it will reinstall the latest Lightning software. You will not have to reload drivers or anything like that. After the install, open the Lightning software and select the "Check for Updates" from the "Utilities" drop down menu. It should give you a message that the Lightning software is up to date. If this works, hook up your edge unit (make sure it says "connected" on the lower message bar of the Lightning software window). Run the check for updates again and it should download the updates. Wait for it to finish and give you a message saying that you can disconnect the unit. If you have dial up like me, this may take a while (10-20mins?).
Unless, you can be more specific, that is all I can suggest. You could always call tech support, those guys are pretty good.
Also, with my Norton security program, I had to make sure that it did not block the Lightning software from accessing the internet. Just something to think about.
MosineeFX4, you are the man!! I just followed yuour instructions and all worked well! Also, I had forgot about the Norton Security messing that up too. Thanks for your help and now my truck feels like it has a turbo!
