I have the diablosport predator u7151 and a 2005 f-150 5.4L.
Is it true that once you program the vehicle with the predator it becomes locked to that vehicle?
And if so how?
By computer code or vehicle serial #?
If I return my truck to stock, can my buddy with a 2005 f-150 use the predator on his truck?

 

When I tuned a GM with the Diablo, it was then VIN locked. Diablo said it would cost $75 to send to them and unlock. I would guess it will be the same for you. Give them a call, they were quick to respond.

 

You put it back to stock, and your buddy can use it. I guarantee it. No need to do ANYTHING else.

 

That is strange. Maybe for Ford they are not the same. I had to send my back even though it was returned to normal, we tried before hand and it was VIN locked. They will not even unlock them if they aren't. That is just my experience with them last year.
