I may need to post somewhere else but i figured it might have something to do with firmer quicker shifts from a programmer. I installed the edge evolution and @ WOT there is belt squeal when it shifts gears. The shifts feel super positive so that maybe the reason huh?

 

Replacing the stock serpentine belt with a gatorback serpentine belt will fix that problem.

 

I get the same thing. Its the belt slipping. Its not used to going that many rpms

 

Had the same problem even with my superchips 1715 ... gatorback fixed it

same problem i had after shift kit installed Gatorback belt fixed it right up
