Question sct 9100 vin locked

Hi, I purchased a used 9100 that is vin locked. I was wanting to know if I can use my home PC to unlock this programmer and use it on my truck or am I S.O.L. Thanks Dave

Contact the manufacturer, for a fee they can unlock the tuner. You can't do it using a P.C. That would be way too easy...

The 9100 tuner is a custom tune device, You will have to contact a custom tuner, like Mike Troyer to unlock the 9100 and then make custom tunes spacific to you're PCM code. It would be very unlikly that the pcm code that it was tuned for would match you're code.

Hi daves03l,

The 9100 is a bit of a different beast, in that it cannot be "unlocked" by the end user. It will have to be sent in to be unlocked, and then new tunes made specifically for your vehicle and loaded into it - if you like, we will be happy to take care of this for you.

Our number is listed below, just give us a call & we'll be happy to make all the arrangements to take care of this for you.
