HI!... No problem MIKE. Joel at the local dyno has the "Y" cable for the X-CAL2 so I can datalog the current program on the SCT 4-BANK chip to see if the timing was off as much as the AUTOTAP was saying it was. Mike : On the SCT website, what is the best LIVE LINK SOFTWARE to download? I see many versions.
HI!... Well I uploaded PROGRAM 1 from my X-CAL2 today after work. Very easy to do. Truck seems to idle smoother and I adjusted my idle a bit lower. Now you can really notice the 0.600 lift cams. lol! Mike A/F's seem to drop to around 12.2 - 12.5 now at WOT according the the INNOVATE MOTORSPORTS wideband. So at least now I don't have to worry about blowin this sucker up!
Neal, I know the guys (and gals) at the superfreak's forum are just dying to hear what's been goin' on with your truck. (me too!)
You're doing what everybody hear dreams of doin' to their truck
HI!... JMC : Just for that comment, I'm not leaving you my truck in my will............................

Hi Neal,
There is only one revision, 2.36 - now there is a full install version, for those who have never had any version of LiveLink before, and then an "update" version, to update PREVIOUS revisions of LiveLink (like 2.18) to version 2.36.
In your case, I don't think you ever had LiveLink installed before, so if that is the case, you would just download the full install version, which is 50 MB. or so. So just read that area carefully, as it lists 2 versions of LiveLink 2.36 - a full install and then an "update" version to bring previous revisions up to 2.36 - see what I mean?
Good luck!
PS - By the way - we have not yet tested version 2.36 LiveLink, as it was just released today - we are still using version 2.18.

HI!... Mike I have already downloaded version 2.18 on my desktop PC. Would you prefer me to use this version for my datalogging since your familiar with it? Or would you think it's better to try the new 2.36 version?
HI!... Well I have downloaded LIVE WIRE 2.36 but it's not working. Install wizard installs it but I can't get it to open up and do anything. I think somethings wrong with the SCT site. Tried like 5 times and it still won't open up. The 2.18 version downloads and opens up but not the 2.36?????????
Neal - use 2.18 - it's proven & works. 2.34 has shown issues, and we have not even used 2.36 yet, it will be a couple of weeks before we do that testing.
Of course, to have 2.36 have any chance of working properly, you would have to un-install the previous 2.18 version, and then install version 2.36. If you do not un-install the previous version, the new version cannot possibly work
However, all of that being said, just use 2.18. Which also means, if you have 2.36 installed now, you need to un-install it FIRST - then you can re-install 2.18 and do your datalogging, OK?
