We do not yet know what the exact date of our next Dyno Day will be - it will be whenever we have the shop far enough along to support a Dyno Day, basically.

The dyno should be fully operational by the end of this week, but there is a LOT more work to do to the rest of the shop before we can host a Dyno Day - we've basically had to rebuild damn near the entire building, as everything we do, we find more things that were previously done by some idiot & has to be completely re-done from scratch - grrrrr..........

We were hoping to have our next Dyno Day by the end of this month, but right now I'd say it's looking more like mid-March, as we discussed in that other thread - so either way, it won't be long, just a few weeks or so - and we'll announce it right here when we do, so you & everyone else will be able to see it just as soon as we have that nailed down.

I look forward to seeing you there!

If all possible, can you not do it on St Paddy's day weekend?

I was just going on what Maps & Streets was reading... if you're getting there in 8 from 'the ville' (my home town too - I was down there three weeks ago), then I can probably get there in closer to 6 or 6.5... I hope the Dyno Day is before July... which plant? I hear that Land O'Frost plant is HUGE. It's across 41A from GE right?

I'm still temp living in Murray.. going to school and working.. I'm in my AutoCAD class now..

I work at Briggs & Stratton right now making lawnmower engines.. I was working 40 hrs/wk... but they have been doing alot of cutbacks.. now I'm down to 24 +overtime. Usually around 30-35hrs/wk...
But yeah, I made it from Murray, KY to Roanoak VA in just under 8 hrs last dyno day..

He'll prolly have more than one Dyno day b/w now and July.

EDIT: Yeah, Land o' Frost is huge.. It is in the field across 41 from GE.

GE is hopefully my future employer... after I finish school...UGH!

Hi Rock Pick & Everyone,

The new dyno is UP & RUNNING!

However, we still have *quite* a bit of work to do to the shop before it will be ready for even a dyno day - so as I mentioned in my last post, we're probably looking at mid-March for our next Dyno Day, and that's only a few weeks away at this point.

As far as where we are located, it's in Covington, VA, and the zip code is 24426.

We're looking forward to seeing all the "regulars" who come in from distances near & far, as well as those who will be coming in to us for the first time!

As soon as we have a firm date, we'll post it right here in a new thread so everyone can see it!

A "Dyno Day" is simply a get together where everyone comes to put their vehicle on the dyno - most come there to have us tune it, or to datalog & fine-tune. And most of the time, it turns into a Dyno "Weekend" instead of a Dyno "Day," as we get a lot of people, and we take as much time as each individual vehicle needs.

It's a blast, & you get to meet a lot of the people you see posting here.
