At the risk of.........
At the risk of.........
....sounding like a broken record, I ordered a X Cal 2 from Troyer today. Spoke with Mike on the phone and was very impressed with his vast knowledge. So I put in a order for a tuner with a 87 performance tune, 91 performance tune and 91 tow tune. 91 in this area is only a 10 cent premium, pardon the pun, so I intend to run on the 91 tow tune the majority of the time.
Wish I would have known about Mike when I had my Magnacharger equpped 5.4 2001 Screw, as I feel there was a lot of potential that he could have unlocked.
I wonder what he could do for my boat.

20 cent difference in my area from 87 to 93 but I use Citgo 93 exclusively; I get my best mpg with it. It figures out to about $5 bucks a tankful more, but with the price already sky-high, so what. There’s a lot more power to be had with premium gas too, especially with TP’s custom tunes
Hi N2Lake,
Thanks very much for calling, I enjoyed speaking with you - I don't know if I knew that you were "N2Lake" when I spoke with you or not, but I was hoping that you would call, so thanks very much for spending some time speaking with us.
Yes, it would have been nice if we could have gotten together on your last supercharged truck, we know those kits very well and we could indeed have picked up some additional power & performance from it that would have made you very happy - but that's life! At least we finally did get to "meet," so to speak, over the phone, on your current truck.
Thanks very much for your post as well, that was very kind of you.
Enjoy your weekend,

I forgot to ask you, what you have in the "boat" department?
Want a laugh?
Many years ago, my Dad managed a marina & boat shop - my cousin & I used to rig, test, clean & deliver the new boats they would sell. Well, one customer purchased a little Checkmate with a rather strong V8 in it (and this was a short boat) - we dropped it in the bay, took it out just a little bit, and were checking some things, adjusting the trim, etc. I decided to do something very stupid - slap the throttle all the way forward as fast as I could from a standstill - being all of 17 or 18, what the heck did I know?!? Apparently not enough, as the boat roared, stood up on it's keel thanks to my perfectly wrong "trim adjustment" - and then sank.
Yep, sank a brand new high-powered hot-rod boat - that was a phone call I dreaded making.
Luckily, when we floated the boat the damage wasn't bad, pumped out the motor & with a good cleaning of everything, it was basically OK, as I had somehow managed to get the throttle back when hanging vertically from the steering wheel, so we didn't completely convert the motor to a steam engine.
The stupidity of youth certainly visited me on a frequent basis.........thank God that's over!
