Thumbs up Edge Programmer CHEAP with FREE SHIPPING!!!

Just wanted to let you all know, that I have found a place to order the new Edge Programmer for the 2004+ F150's for cheap, and with free shipping. I was given a voucher code for the free shipping, and you will see it deducted from your purchase reciept. Just goto the site listed below, and the programmer is only $359.99 !!! When you add it to your cart, use the voucher code "Free Shipping", and it will deduct the price of the shipping automatically. This deal will end on Feb. 1st, so if you are trying to decide if you want one or not, now is the time!! I have looked for awhile now, and this is the cheapest price around for that programmer. Just thought you all might like to know.

I just tried it again and it works at DiscountPowerParts. And Truckracingparts is still at $440.10. No question where to get it. "free shipping" dont forget the space.

Not to argue...but to wonder...Some guys ordered from Truckracing and after 2-3 weeks they are getting a run-around. I ordered mine and in 3 days I had it in my greasy little fingers. I dont like the idea of loaning my money to some shop for 2 weeks while they try to figuire out where they are going to get the product they sold me. At least if Summit doesn't something on stock, they wont cahrge you until the item comes in from back-order and ships. Discount Power actually has a surplus of these things from what they said, and not one person has spoken up yet saying that they were lied to or ripped off. I'm thinking if one of the users here had been ripped, or read anywhere else about getting ripped by them, we would have slandered them all over this forum by now. I do realize that to some guys saving a buck is the number one point in a purchase, but I really enjoy great service, and I enjoy calling and talking to someone like they did.....for over 30 minuts. I like the warm and fuzzy, I like to ask stupid questions, and I like to feel that the guy that is on the other side of the line is more like a freind than the next chump I can hammer a buck from. Its all good, we all buy from differant places for differant reasons. I think after my experiance I'll call these guys again. BTW- I really do like the Edge tuner :]

Well, I have actually talked to the guy at Discount Power Parts. He talked to be for about 30 mins, while driving around town.. now that is what I call dedicated customer service. I even spoke to him about some cold air intakes, and not 30 mins later, he had email me with about 5 diffrent brands he carried, and this thoughts on each one... his ACTUAL thoughts, not copied and pasted off some website. This guy really went out of his way, and I really enjoyed being "#1" so to say. Larry (the guy at Discount Power Parts), you get 3 "Hellz Ya's" for your Customer Service!!!

Does anyone have pictures of the Edge installation that includes the OBDII connector? I am curious how that part of the installation looks.

I think it was me that you read about.
I made a post asking if truckracingparts.com was legit because i was getting the run around.
They are processing my order and it will prob ship out today. I am a little upset that it took 3 weeks to get everything done but...
They did not charge me at the time I placed my order, so I never "loaned" money to them.
Just wanted to clear that up.

Just wanted to post a thought about the exposed pod/unit on the edge. What and when you bring your rig in for work at the dealer. What do you plan on doing with the unit that is now exposed? You can't say you do not have or never used a programmer... Looks great though... Just a thought...

I have mine velcroed in place, takes only a few minutes to take the whole thing out.

All you do to instal it dude is run the cable down and tuck in the gap between the left of the dash and the inside wall of the truck, run it to the OBD port and plug it in. Like the dude above said, you can velcro it or double sided tape it on the dash and within what, 3-5 min you can it all undone and in your house. Its not a issue really...its very easy to install or remove....so easy, that if I lved in a bad area, I may be scared to leave it on the dash for fear that the window may be smashed and the unit stolen! You also dont HAVE to have the unit in the truck, you can dumo the file into your truck and remove the unit. It can be stealthy....
