Top Notch Work - F-150 Tuning

Just wanted to post and say that I had my 2003 F-150 Supercrew 5.4L tuned by Darrin and dirtyd0g today. dirtyd0g also did a valve body update as well. The truck runs great, shifts great and is a nice change overall.

I definitely recommend both guys.

Talk about strokin.....

Dirty dog

How about more detail??

I got a roush supercharger for 99.99 installed by we, cheatem and how.

You have to wait until they find the inventory you are looking for though.

It doesn't take too long, but they only accept cash for some reason.

One of the guys looked like a dirty dog, perhaps he is employed by we cheatem??

It really is a small world....

Give us some more info on who you are talking about and what exactly they tuned. Yes, this forum is supposed to be about the sharing of such info but there are a few ringers in here whose job it is to slam any and all competitors of their 'guy'. Ignore them, they have no expertise at all..only here to cause trouble and generate arguments. Read some of the other posts in here, it's pretty easy to see who the few of them are.

Anyway, welcome to the forum...don't let your first post be your last. These guys are the exception not the rule.

I will have to disagree here.

Read the posts here.

Who does the attacking on supported vendors.

Who claims expertise with no data to back it up.

Who makes rude snide comments and actually resorts to name calling when they cannot prove a point.

Go ahead and read, its all there to see.

While it is a public forum those that make outlandish statements when called for any facts whatsoever simply resort to the practices noted above.

Remeber that the internet makes brave men out of cowards on many occasions, simply do some reading and decide who is who and what is what.

You will find that on this board most folks treat others the way they want to be treated, but there are always a few that feel the rules do not apply to them and whos basic purpose is to draw attention to themselves whether it be positive or not.

I am glad you are happy with your results.

Also, I would like to echo what Bill said. Don't be put off by the fanboys in this forum who will slam you if you don't buy from their "guy". If you are happy, that is all that matters.

And I am encouraging the man to post while you and your cronies make fun of him. Had he posted about a great set of tires you wouldn't have said a word, but mention a tuner and you have to start some drama. He didn't ask about who tuned your truck JP, yet your only response to the new guy is that troyer tuned your truck...like he cares. Did I say anything at all about edge, or any other tuner? No, because I have nothing to sell and nothing to gain by pushing a product. What is your agenda here and do you think you could possibly have made it any more clear by posting like you just did?

Lets us know some of the longer term changes you experience, such as MPG differences. And I'll reiterate what bill said as well, ignore the the people who feel they have to run into every single thread, hijack it, and turn it into something else. You got what you wanted, and thats great for you. And sharing that info with us can help all of us in the future, less the people who can't be helped.

Gentlemen.... ENOUGH.

Everyone has their favorite flavor... that's why Baskin Robbins has 31 of them. Choose yours and be happy...

The stupid, immature, childish, moronic banter here is getting **OLD**...very old. If you have something to discuss, discuss it. If you have a question, ask it. If you have a rave, post it.

This whole 'my dad is better than your dad' exchange has seen its day.
