I'm pretty much sold on buying a Diablo predator for my '03 just have one question though........will i be able to run 87 octane. It said with some modifying. what kind of modifications?

 

I got an XCal2 and the 3 custom tunes I got are

87- performance
93- tow preferred
93- max performance

takes about 8 min to switch between tunes

You can get 3 custom tunes of your choice for any octane you want done specifically for your truck and driving habits

 

i dont need a custom tune

 

If you buy the diablo, be sure to review it in here for the rest of us after you have had some time with it. We're always interested in hearing what you have and what you think of it. As for it using 87 octane, I'm afraid I can't help you there. Have you called the company?

I havent called the company yet...they say on there website that you can run 87 with adjustments. not sure if Diablo has to adjust it or the user.

 

Adjustment to 87 octane can be done at home-- its in the manual.
