Hi dcallen25,
We can handle the tuning for that Navigator, and you'll get the best results with our custom tuning, and have it set up just like you want, instead of generic canned tuning.
You also get a special discount not reflected in the pricing on our web site because you are a registered member of F-150 Online, so you'll want to give us a quick call at our number listed below to go over all the details.
We'll provide you with a set of 3 different custom tunes in the most advanced hand-held tuner available, with complete enhanced manufacturer-specific diagnostic capabilities, the highest-speed datalogging available, and many user-adjustable parameters for your tuning built right into the unit as well.
Congratulations on your 2004 Navigator, & best of luck whatever you decide!

Thanks for the info. From what I see on the web, I will go with a product from Mike T.
What gains do you think I can expect with the 5.4 in my navigator 4x4?
Also, has anyone ever seen the MMR Air Intake?? Horsepower Gains?
Thanks,
DCA

No, he's going to tell you that there is only one tuner. Unlike him, there are several who will point you in the direction that a little research will show you everything that is available.
What are your goals? Are you trying to do what I did and turn the navi into a blown machine or just a few basic add ons? There are several tuners out there, like diablosport, hypertech, superchips, and so forth. Each offers their own specific unit, most of which have the same functions with few differences between them. A bunch of these guys are into custom tuning relatively stock to mild performance 5.4 and 4.6's. To each his own, but if I were you I'd decide what level I was going to take it to before I invested in any programmer.

You have already been exposed, don't start it up again.

THIS IS MY OPINION, you will see why later.
Not being cryptic, just keep on the path you are get your xcal from MT and see what you think.
In a few months lets see how many edge zealots are left here, if it turns out to be a fine product with excellent customer service, then mike may have some competition, but until that day comes, you are MUCH better off with MT, instead of some faceless company promoted by people that have owned a beta product for less than two months.
Better yet, if at all possible, go to one of the MT dyno days, then no further explanation will be needed.
My opinion is unbiased, I don't have either of hte products all you bicker about everyday. ANd everytime someone new asks, I have the same answer. Do the research based on your goals for the car and then you'll know what to purchase. The money that you can save by not overbuying on the tuner will save you for more parts now. Personally, I would tell you to get anything else that you're going to buyfirst, and the tuner (if you want a custom tune) last. Otherwise, you'll be needing to change the tune when you do signifigant changes to your setup.

I didn't get a tuner. I ended up with a chip because I have a 98 model. At the time, I wasn't willing to wait 6 weeks when I need a more timely solution. I did all of my changes first, then I bought the Diablo Delta chip and had it programmed at Dugan Racing. I would have gone with a handheld but diablo never made one for a 98, and I wanted something that was custom and easily modified. The chip is actually extremely easy to remove and reburn, it takes less than 10 minutes to take it out, let them burn it, and reinstall it. The part htat sucks is the drive over there, which is about 20 miles.
But to more clearly answer your questions, Dugan Racing

Edge Products is an established company. They are not "some faceless company" . They have been producing tuners for gas and diesel motors for a long time and have many satisfied customers. I doubt that you will be "MUCH better off" by going with MT.
