I know this is gonna be quite a hectic 2 weeks for Mike and the Troyer crew, but I was just wondering what the average wait is to hear back after you have emailed your datalogging information??? Thanks, and Have a Merry Christmas All!!!

First, (and forgive me for this) I am bound by the rules to point out that this is really something that needs to be communicated off the boards, as this falls in the category of "order status/tech support. Now we do as much of that as we can here, we're really walking a fine line in some cases and we don't' want to get the Webmaster on our case by blatantly breaking his rules, while at the same time trying to give you the best service possible - so just a quick reminder that for this type of thing, calling us is usually best, OK?

OK, now with that out of the way, let's see if we can get you some info!!!

Normally we look at datalogs in anywhere from right away (for professional racers in the middle of a points season) to more typically about a week to 10 days - but this is obviously Christmas, and as you know we are also in the middle of getting the new shop ready and taking delivery of huge bits & pieces, materials for building, machinery, etc. (we have a big concrete pour coming up in a couple of days), and just had to take delivery of one of the largest vehicle lifts made (which took 3 days to make that happen alone, due to trucking company screw ups!), and, well, you just don't even want to know the rest!!!

So right now getting as many people's tuning out in time for Christmas is of course by far the most important priority, and then next is the huge truck project we have an owner flying in for to pick up, and then the big concrete pour at the shop next week. *Then* we can get to the datalogs, so we're hoping to be able to look at that data for you roughly about next weekend, just to give you a rough idea, my friend, & thanks for your patience!

Oh, by the way, I have what I hope will be some really cool news for you - there is another HUGE new update to LiveLink on the manufacturer's web site that gives you even more capabilities, so I would download that and install it and play around with it - you may want to datalog again just from all the new cool stuff this new version has, of course that is up to you, but I just wanted to let you know that LiveLink version 2.34 is now available for downloading!

Merry Christmas!

hate to sound like a dummy....but what is livelink and where is this stuff downloaded mike??? off your website??? just trying to be prepared for when i get my xcal and that im up to date and know whats going on.

secondly, on issue of datalogging......would you prefer that a customer(me) upon recieveing xcal, does some datalogging under WOT in stock trim first??? would this serve as a good tuning aid and watching what is going on when datalogging under those conditions in the other tunes??? just want to get the most out of all this and make it easy on you folks. i know how crucial info is, b/c my racecar(drag racer) records and loads lots of info that is INVALUABLE to me every pass i make. thanks
