Xcal2 compared to other chips

Okay bottom line, you have been asked this question prolly 1000 times. I need a straight answer.

Mike if you want to put your input in please do, but I much rather have customers point of views....

Okay for starters, I have 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4. Mods installed are air raid intake, Gibson Headers, Full custom Exhaust with flowmaster muffler. Runs great I can easly SMOKE the tires, But i'm still not getting the speed I want from the truck. From what I have read a program/chip/tuner will fix this? I have looked into 4 kinds.

1. Hyper Tech Programmer III
2. SuperChip tuner
3. UniChip (new 2 me)
4. Xcal2 (new 2 me)

I was totally for the HyperTech. But now reading some info on the unichip and the Xcal2(customer satisfaction), i'm starting to change my mind. I'm not sure if you guys have used the unichip, basically it will reconize my added features and appply the max hp from them.

With the Xcal2 troyer how much extra hp will it give me. I know its hard to say, but give me an avg number. Does the xcal work like the hypertech? What features does the xcal troyer have?

basacially i need these questions answered, so I dont spend the money on the wrong chip. I really hate wasting money!!! any info will help please anyone can answer, put your 2 cents in, give your own opinion.

I'm not sure if this is a problem, but i'm from canada. can Xcal2 troyer Be shipped to me

Let me know
Thanks

Albert Zangolli

I would suggest you spend a few minutes of your own time doing some very simple and basic homework here, as all the worthwhile info those who are serious about improving the tuning of their F-150 could possibly want to know is already here, in droves - a decade's worth. Try doing what almost everyone else does - which is to take all of a few minutes and a few mouse clicks to make use of the F-150 Online SEARCH feature reading what so many thousands of wonderful people have so very generously given of their time to painstakingly post back here - all just so that people like you could have access to it 24 hours a day. I think you will find that works far better than expecting others to come running back here to "give you a straight answer." How utterly dismissive of the wonderful people who work their butts off to contribute the content of this site to say such a thing.

I think you've been reading here plenty long enough to already know that nobody else has the kind of expertise and sheer R&D that we have into the performance of the F-150 platform, or anywhere near the kind of following that we do - and that these things can only be achieved thru many years of extremely hard work. Most people understand that.

At any rate, I wish you well & happy reading,
