Xcal 2 and wideband ?
Xcal 2 and wideband ?
Im goin to upgrade to the xcal 2 from the xcal one come tax time i hope when i add a couple more mods to the L. Im also planning on addin a wideband a/f meter soon. i was wonderin if the aem wideband was able to datalog with the xcal 2?I think the dynojet wideband commander is compatable with the xcal. The easy install of the aem along with the digital and needle readout make it more appealing if it works well dataloggin with the xcal 2. Any ideas?
The AEM wideband will work with the xcal2. I have mine hooked up and it works fine. There is a formula that you have to enter in your laptop inorder for it to work. Good luck with the purchase.

HI Mickey,
While the AEM unit will work, the LM1 does a much better job and has far more features for about the same cost, so that is what I would strongly recommend.
Feel free to give us a call to go over those details - but yes, you can connect quality wideband units to the XCal 2 and get the wideband A/F ratios - its' easiest with the LM-1, and if you're going to spend the money on a wideband unit, I tend to prefer the unit that tis the most stable & works the best, and for me, by far that is the LM - 1 - we have used them both, on the street, at the tack & on the dyno, and the LM-1 is my favorite, hands down.
Best of luck whatever you decide!
