Quick Question
Quick Question
If After I've done datalogging for my vehicle and upon recieving it, Mike decides that further tweaking must be made, what is the process for that?? Do i have to send back my xcal2 to be tweaked....or is it another process????
I have my tuner on order from Troyer, but if I remember correctly whenever talking to Anita they can email the update to you if you have the USB cable with the programmer, so you can get it by email. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.
You will have any tweaks emailed to you. You then download them to your Xcal and then to your truck. I have not done this yet, so I don't know the exact sequence. If your truck is not too highly modded, you may get lucky and not need any changes. By the way, after spending all day replacing injectors, MAF, plugs, dumping the FMU and re-piping my intake to match the new 90mm MAF, I held my breath, closed my eyes, crossed my fingers and loaded my tune
The moment it said it was loaded, I disconnected and fired it up
Wah-hoo! No CEL lights, jump outside...no fuel leaks...smooth idle...nasty blower whine!
My truck is scary fast for a 3 ton beast
I can not believe the difference, and I'm still not ready to really nail it. The throttle response, launch, shifts, mid-range, I could go on all night. Mike you did me great. Let me know if you see this .gif

Hey Tigga - you must not be reading the posts here, or your datalogging docs, it's all in there - in short, that is done by email, dude.
For Desperado - yeah, we love to see those kinds of posts - when we can get people to do their blowers right, get those damned dangerous FMU's off, get the right injectors & some real MAF capacity on there along with a Troyer tune, that truck will run *must* better.
You think it's good now (and yeah, it already *is* much better than it was) - wait until you get it datalogged and we get it final-tweaked!
I forget where you are, but if you can make the drive you might even want to come help us break in our brand new eddy-current chassis dyno - it should be up & running by New Years, roughly. We have people that come in from Michigan, California, PA, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Florida, Texas, Ok, etc., so we get people drive here from almost every state anyway.
But if you can't drive in, then just do the proper datalogging to include the wideband A/F's, and we'll do the final tweaking on that thing for you, so it runs every bit like it's potential - it does get even better!
