Which tune to get?

hey guys need some help. I have a 2k 4x4 expy. Love my mistress. Wanting a bit more power out of her. I am currently running the superchips tuner on it, but I have heard that the XCal can get far more HP. Is this true. If so would it be worth it to switch tuner?

Yep, the XCal2 is definitely worth it IMO. You’ll get at least another 50% gain over the 1715 and a boatload of other drivability improvements too. Mike’s custom tunes are the best

Hi Quadkeys,

It's good to "see" you again!

The difference is our in-depth custom tuning - it goes far beyond what the "off the shelf" tuners can do, and results in gains significantly larger than you can get from something like the 1715 tuner, for example.

It's not the hardware that makes the difference - the hardware only delivers the tuning to the PCM in this regard. It's the actual *tuning* inside that makes the difference, and in our custom tuning we can go much further into the tuning and alter many more things that help to add more power all the time, at any throttle position or rpm, improve driveability further, etc. A lot of people have upgraded from the 1715 to our 9400 (XCalibrator 2) loaded with our Troyer Performance custom tuning, and they generally rave about it.

If you'd like to go over any details, please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below.
