Question XCal 2 Where is the Maco 3.0

Have any of those with the earlier versions of the XCal 2 heard anything about our 3.0 update? Other than comming soon. I would really like to have the end user adjustability. Is it something that we can get directly from SCT's web site or does it have to be part of our tunes and therfore have to come from Troyer? I got my Tuner back from Troyer on 10/28 because of some issues with my stock tune and thought it would have the up-grade, but I see no way to make any adjustments when changing tunes.

For Tech Support, as you know, that cannot be done here - that must be done by either calling us directly at the phone number as is pointed our clearly in your documentation, or by calling the manufacturer directly.

Last - you do not get "maco 3.0," nor is there any such thing. It's Mako, which is Advantage 3.0.

And no end user gets that.

Only certain tuners have that.

We have enabled the user adjustability into every unit since August 15th, and there is no reason whatsoever to go into it other than to monkey around, which is only going to slow the vehicle down and potentially damage the powertrain. There is only 1 valid reason for ever going into that area, and that is to change the speedometer calibration for a different size gear ratio or tire size than you had us program it for - it's not a toy to be played with, so unless there is an actual need, I strongly suggest that you leave it alone, just as we point out in our docs - you aren't going to magically "improve" on our tuning, yo cannot do a MAF transfer function adjustment to dial in the A/F ratios, nor will that ever be any kind of substitute for proper datalogging and providing us with that information so that we can tweak for any tuning changes we deem necessary. Frankly, it's a marketing gimmick that we are dead set opposed to for anything other than speedo calibrations.

If you have any questions about this, please read & follow your instructions regarding how to get Tech Support - which is not by posting *here*.

I was not looking for Tech support or I would have called you. I was asking a question of others on this site if they had recieved the end user adjustability on their XCal 2 as was advertised on the Web site and to be comming soon, that is all. Sorry for the confusion, but you seem to be just a tad bit touchy of late.
FROM YOUR WEBSITE:
A nice additional feature is the ability to use the Xcalibrator 2's included USB cable to connect to your Windows PC for things like email program changes to your custom tuning, and a never-before-available hardware update function as well. These fantastic updating capabilities will be put to good use, as the XCalibrator 2 will have even more features such as the ability to make changes to your custom tuning for things like gear ratios & tire size changes - and later on, even more additional features will be enabled such as being able to make your own tuning changes for larger fuel injectors, factory-installed electric cooling fan turn-on & turn-off temperatures, and other "tweaks" to your custom tuning - giving you more control than you've ever had before!
