I think because Mike is a sponsoring vendor, he (and us on his behalf) is not allowed to discuss pricing.
If you see an item on ebay or something, that is usually no big deal. Just be careful with the sponsoring vendors.

thanx all of yall seem very loyal to Mike. I was told he was in vegas or something so I guess Ill have to wait until he comes back to get his opinion. BTW I put the money sign on my first thread, didnt know I couldnt do that.

As you can probably tell from the respondents, most people with F-150's come to us for their tuning because we have specialized in performance tuning the F-150 platform longer than anyone else - it's what we do. We tune a lot of other vehicles too, but our core specialty is the F-150 platform.
Like Marc Carpenter mentioned in his post, the XCalibrator 2 is simply the hardware that is used to deliver our custom Troyer Performance tuning - we use the XCal 2 because it is the best device of it's kind. But it's the actual *tuning* inside the device that determines your results, not the hardware itself, so it's the tuning that is by far what's most important. I suppose you could say that it's just luck that the best F-150 tuning is available in what is the best hand-held tuning device on the market - it's just how things worked out, we use what we feel is the best product in each area of modification, so we use the XCal 2 for Ford tuning.
Because we specialize in the F-150, we can do things that major chipmakers cannot - they have to produce applications for hundreds, if not literally thousands, of different vehicles - but we specialize, so we can take the time to do much more F-150 specific R&D and testing, to make the most safe & sustainable power and get the best overall driveability, etc - in fact, we get called in to help numerous different manufacturers with their tuning needs for their products that get used on these trucks because of our reputation & results.
