Hypertech Question

This mind sound kind of dumb, but who cares, i'm new... Anyways, im gonna be purchasing the xcal 2 soon, and my 2005 f-150 has the air raid intake, throttle body spacer and exhaust. Anyways, i took off the hypertech and my truck actually feels like it has better throttle response as well as all around get up without the hypertech...is this possible???

I have a similar situation with my xcal2. Had it on for a month with 93 perf tune and it just had no throttle response unless I was running it hard. No low-end or middle-end pickup what so ever. I finally had enough and put it back to stock tune and it's a night and day difference for the better with the stock tune back in. It just has so much more pep and the truck is fun to drive again. I am working with Troyer's to try to figure out the problem. I know it's not right because Mike is the best and my xcal2 tunes from him have not made me a happy camper. I have faith tho that he will make it right.
