XCal 2 NEWBIE!!
Hey fellas....I just became a member today. I've been to this website tons of times after getting my 2005 f-150 supercrew 5.4. Today..I decided to sell the hypertech and go with the XCAL 2. You guys convinced me. Anyways..my question is, whats the process. I call the phone number, say I want an XCAL 2, and go from there???Also, where do you guys get these forms you've been talking about that you fill out and send back???Are they mailed, or do you download them??Sorry if i sound dumb, but i have NO CLUE!!
You can call them like you said and mention you are an f150online member and get a little discount. Just call and they will send you worksheets to fill out online and email them back and go from there
Hi tigga83 and welcome to the forum!
Looks like you caught the XCal2 flu that’s been going around in pandemic proportions. Good for you because you’ll really enjoy all the extra performance you’re going to get from Mike’s custom tunes, he’s the tune maestro you know. Don’t be afraid to call TP with any questions you have about the custom program work sheet either; you’ll find there customer service is second to none.

Hi tigga83,
We make this very easy - Just give us a quick call at our number listed below & we'll go over all of that with you in appropriate detail, take your oder, and make this happen for you!
No, the truck does NOT need to be bone-stock, so no worries there, we tune these vehicles in virtually any level of modification.
In terms of your present mods, that throttle body spacer is basically a paperweight, it does basically nothing for the performance of the vehicle so you can either keep or ditch that part, whichever you prefer - the Airaid intake kit does work well in these 5.4 3V F-150's, in fact it's our #2 pick in intake kits for your truck so you have done very well there!
the way to get this whole thing started is to simply give us a quick call at our number listed below & we'll be more than happy to help you get into the best tuning for your F-150.
Congrats on your new truck, & we look forward to working with you!

I have to confess that the spark plug appearance question is really a left-over relic of the days when many of us motor-heads changed our plugs frequently, so we used to "read" them - it really doesn't' apply to the vast majority of vehicles today, so you really don't have to worry about that part.
Actually, I want to to a freshing-up of our CPW's sometime here in the not-too-distant future to better reflect the newest vehicles & lightly-modded scenarios & not intimidate those who have others change their plugs once every few years, etc.
In short - you can leave that blank, just put an "N/A" there and you;ll be fine.
