OK, tell you what - right now, I'd say let's call the next Dyno Day for Saturday, November 19th - and depending on how many people we have, we may run over into Sunday the 20th as well!!
As far as the location, for now to make things easy since our new dyno most likely won't be up & running by then at the new shop, we'll do it at the same place we did the last 2 times, the new Dynojet 248 facility in Roanoke (well, Salem to be exact). So for those of you wanting to find out how far, etc., just plug in Roanoke, Va into your MapQuest, etc and that'll give you the scoop.
We'll go ahead and start taking appointment schedule calls first thing tomorrow (that's Tuesday, October 18th) - so you can start calling to schedule in RIGHT NOW, basically.
Now in the past, we've usually gotten started around Noon and run until about 10 pm at night - however, I'm thinking that we should get started by no later than 11 am, and if we can make it happen sooner, even better, but we'll call it officially 11am wheels-down time for the first truck on the dyno. 11 am would be the ticket to allow everyone travel time, and us setup-time.
Now we normally have no problem scheduling in any time for this dyno, as we do a lot of work there and it's just down the road from us - we'll call them first thing tomorrow morning and get booked in officially, but basically, everyone can go ahead and call in to set their appointment times now.
Now here is how this really needs to go: everyone who is going to be dyno tuned, we will need to send you our CPW's (custom program worksheets) and have a preliminary tune done BEFORE you hit the dyno - so we need to get started on this pretty quickly. That way we minimize dyno time & dyno fees, as it does take time to create tunes from scratch (which is the only way we work, we don't use any pre-built nonsense, each truck is custom-tuned from scratch).
Sooo...........everyone who wants in on the Dyno Day, needs to know pricing, details, etc., please call us ASAP (we won't be discussing those details here!), we'll email our your CPW's, please get them filled out & sent back to us ASAP, and we'll have preliminary tunes built for you - now for those who you who we have already tuned and simply need some adjustments, same thing applies - we still want current CPW's, and I will check your existing tune dates to see if I want to completely re-do them from scratch, or whether I will just dial them in on the dyno - it's really a matter of how long ago they were done, so that everyone get the full benefit of our very latest R&D so they can get absolute highest possible performance, etc.
And we will also take those who simply want to get their vehicle on a dyno to see what it makes - so you don't have to be buying a tune to get in with us that day.
So thats it - next Dyno Day is Saturday November 19th as things stand right now, and we'll get the first truck rolled in at 11 am and go at it all day long. We'll make sure lunch is there, and provide soft drinks for everyone, too.
And just so we're clear - on this Dyno Day, we will be happy to do new tunes as well as tweaking outstanding tunes we have already done, and once those are done then anyone else that just wants to get on a dyno to see their numbers without being tuned, you are also welcome!!
We want the CPW's done ASAP so we can see who needs scratch tuning and whose tunes we can dial in & thus get those files located & bring with us, etc., to make this as productive as possible and so we can get things together on our end as quickly as possible.
If anyone happens to just show up that day without an appointment, we will TRY to get to you, but cannot guarantee it, that depends on how many others we have there - if at all possible, we'll do it, but basically, if you want in on this day, you need to call us and book in as quickly as you can, as these slots tend to go pretty quick. Yes, we can roil it over into Sunday if there are enough vehicles, but just call us as quickly as you reasonably can, so we can schedule everyone in, and know if we need to be there Sunday too or not, etc.
Gosh, that came together pretty quick!
