Just want you all to know, I wear the pants in our family, and I have my wife's permission to say so.

Smile Man song

ever hear of the man song on Bob and Tom??? The way I work it is I tell my wife that I am going to put away 25 a week to spend on the toys I want. And I tell her it is a gas savings, and if that doesn't work I beg. Just remember never to get married by a judge, I did and I got 25 to life, went back 5 years ago for my parloe and she just laugh,"come back in 10 more years you still have a long way to go. lol I have been happyly married for 30 years.

Update - Uncle Sam will not be sending me much of a return this year, so CRAP!

Well, since I don't have any money to do anything but wash it, I might as well keep busy dreaming up new schemes for more horsepower - my latest involves putting a Navi 4 valve motor in with a supercharger on it. Might as well dream big, eh? I'd email Neal the HP Freak, but at this rate it will be about ten years before I have the $ to do anything. By then, maybe it will be a good resto-rod.

Vader - in all fairness, usually my wife doesn't say much when I spend money on the truck, because no matter how much I spend, it's always going to be less than when I used to drive a race car. I'd do it anyway right now, but things are just too tight to justify it - just too many things going on with the kids and such. Maybe this summer . . .

I know how it is....believe me...I have a mustang that I dearly love crying out for attention but the house, kids, etc are higher on the list. I did some side work and bought the XCAL....only reason I did.

Don't feel bad, guys - I really need to drop a built block in Anita's truck, as it's up to 500 HP (crank) and about all I care to crank it up to - and of course, I've got enough parts to put my 2004 Cobra deep into the 10's, but still haven't gotten any of it done - I just don't know where I'll get the time, maybe once all the Group Buy tunes are done!!!

It's a never-ending saga, there is always more we want to do to our vehicles - sometimes even if you have the money, you can't make the time!

Well, we all do the best we can...............

Have fun Gang,
