Using Diablo Predator on Different Vehicle

If I purchase a Predator from a buddy, will the Predator work on my Lightning as long as he reloads his factory tune? or will the unit be "VIN Locked" forever?

Yes, once you restore the vehicle to stock programming the Predator is unlocked and may be used on another vehicle.
