I was on my way home from the electronics store with a big screen and a surround sound system for my new house when I thought to my self is it ok
to carry this with my 87 performance tune. Was this the wrong thing to do?

 

That as long as it does not exceed the weight specified in you owners manual for the truck then its ok. I am not a MIKE but I don't think even a bed full of electronics is going to make you too heavy. The main concern is when you are towing large loads.
