Anyone used a jet performance module

I am looking at these JET perfomance modules and am wondering if they are worth purchasing. What kind of performance are u guys getting with them? I am also interested in how well the superchips programmer works and if it is better or worse than the JET.

Just my opinion but dont waste ur money on the jet chip. I had a jet chip a couple years ago on my 97 f150 and the only time you could tell it was there was wot on 93 octane. The basic superchips programmer is alot better in my mind but I would go for the xcal or xcal2 with custom tuning for the best bang for the bug

Had one on my 02 dodge dakota R/T for about a month. I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than a paper weight. I'll be going with the xcal2 from troyer for my ford.

Hi dmelchi2000,

Welcome to F-150 Online!

If you are interested in getting the best actual results, then it's very simple - go with our Troyer Performance custom tuning in the XCalibrator 2 - spend some time actually reading the posts from the people here using our tuning in that device, and you will quickly see how they rave about it, and how much better it is than any of the standard off-the-shelf stuff from Jet (about the worst) Superchips (the best off-the-shelf unit, and we are their oldest distributor), and everyone else on the market.

We specialize in these vehicles, and have done performance tuning specializing in the F-series platform longer than anyone else - which is why the vast majority of owners come to us for our tuning, as they know that is what actually gets the best results.

You also get a special discount that is not reflected in the pricing seen on our web site by being a registered member here - so I would suggest giving us a call at our number listed below & we'll be more than happy to go over all the details with you, what you can expect, what the actual costs are, go over all the details of your specific vehicle and any other modifications you might have made, how you use it, any specific goals you have in mind (other than wanting more power like everyone else! ), and that way you'll know what the score really is before making your decision.

Take your time, don't rush into anything, and just do your homework by reading the posts here - you will quickly see that most people come to us for our expertise - just as do other chipmakers and other parts manufacturers, due to our specializing in this platform for so long and being well known for our expertise with these vehicles.

Good luck doing your research, & best of luck whatever you decide!

besides u cant "Chip" ur 05 f150, it can only be reprogrammed. Meaning u need a flasher device, like an Xcal or Xcal 2.
