I never got a chance to call you today before you left.
I will be having the knee surgery this Friday (8/12/05) and will be off for at least 2 weeks.
Instead of you emailing my new tunes, why don't you just wait until the week after you get back and I will come down and we can put this thing on the dyno like we discussed earlier..I should be able to drive after 4 or 5 days so it should not be a problem. I also want to discuss my new 5.4 powered Mustang drag car project with you. I will need a "lot" of your input on this one.....Enjoy the trip...

I'm *very* sorry to hear about the knee surgery - I hate to see that for anyone, but it really hits home when someone is a good driver, a really consistent drag racer like you are, in both automatic and manuals - especially as consistent as you were with your Cobra. Hope the surgery goes well and the recuperation is quick!

We will be back on the dyno next Saturday the 20th, but I don't know what kind of time we will have, as we have some "problem & big-power" types of vehicles coming in - you know, the real time-consumers. Give me a call whenever you can, and we'll talk about getting you in - I just got back in from Orlando & it's Sunday so I don't know off the top of my head how heavily we're already booked this coming Saturday.

Let's see how well you heal, and what our schedule ends up looking like for this next weekend - of course we'd love to have your truck back down & on the dyno to do some of the part-throttle driveability/power stuff we spoke of last time on the phone -

The 5.4 Mustang project drag car sounds great, we'll have a lot to discuss. We *love* seeing 5.4's dropped into Mustangs - the torque is incredible - sounds like we're going to have some more fun!

Glad to see you made it back home safely my friend... I keep worrying that maybe they will try to keep you down there one of these days ...
I will give you a call either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week and we can set something up for the dyno. It looks like I will be off work for several weeks so we will have plenty of time...
I am absolutle drooling over the possibilities with a 5.4 in my newest project..

Don't worry, I don't think anyone can afford to pay me enough to leave what I have here and move back to Florida - that would take mid-6 figures annually with a long-year no-cut contract and a lot more..............
