XCalibrator 2 Upgrade Program Announced!!!

To all 9300 (original XCalibrator) owners:

SCT has just announced the details of the trade-in option program for those who want to trade in their 9300's for a BRAND NEW XCalibrator 2!

This program runs from now thru August 31st ONLY - orders MUST be placed with us by no later than August 31st.

Everyone that takes advantage of this trade-in program gets a special trade-in program price on the XCalibrator 2 - the end result is designed to reward those loyal existing SCT customers who took advantage of the original XCalibrator early on, with a vastly reduced price on a BRAND NEW XCalibrator 2 with all the features you've been hearing about - the high-speed datalogging, the full diagnostic capabilities, the USB connectivity, the modular design to accept future optional upgrades like a large dash-mounted touch-screen, and everything else you're heard about it.

The end result is the manufacturer makes NO money (it's actually a loss from our calculations) on each of these brand new XCalibrator 2 trade-up units - we discussed that with them today in detail, and they've really bent over backwards in working with us on this upgrade program for the 9300 (XCalibrator) owners - we want to publicly thank everyone down at SCT, and especially Brian.

It took SCT some time to work out the exact details of how to go about implementing this upgrade program, as they needed to find a way to accommodate us so that we can do this for our customers directly, instead of everyone having to send their units in to the manufacturer.

For all the specific details, the actual final net cost (which is the combination of a special purchase price AND a mail-in rebate), please give us a call at our number listed below -

Here are some quick details:

1.) You must place your order with us no later than August 31st - and we recommend really getting them in sooner, as you have a deadline postmark date for getting the rebate form in the mail to SCT of September 1st - it has to be postmarked by then, and as you can imagine, if you wait until the last minute we'll probably be swamped trying to get invoices out to you quickly enough so that you can get them postmarked by that date - so don't delay!

2.) You must download the "trade-in credit form" from the www.sctflash.com web site - at that home page, you will see a link telling you about this program. Just follow that link and it will give you all the details on the procedure for the trade-in credit portion of the reduced price (the mail-in rebate) - The actual FINAL NET COST pricing info is far below just that rebate, and will be communicated from us via telephone ONLY at our number listed below, as we must verify that you are a in fact a bonafide owner of a 9300 XCalibrator. (And no, you do NOT have to have purchased it from us originally - we can verify this several ways to aid in everyone being able to get our Troyer Performance custom tuning).

3.) When you send in your XCalibrator, you MUST have returned the vehicle back to STOCK first (this WILL be checked by the manufacturer!), and it must be in undamaged and in fully functional condition to qualify. That also means don't do something like try to modify it, or run over it 11 times with your lawn tractor before sending it in!

4.) This trade-in program offer applies ONLY to those who have actually purchased the original XCalibrator (9300) AND who are buying a BRAND NEW XCalibrator 2 as part of this trade-in program, and who reside in the United States or Canada.

5.) No order will be considered final until proof of purchase of your original 9300 XCalibrator 1 is provided to/verified by us, so that everyone who wants & who owns the XCalibrator 1 can get a BRAND NEW XCalibrator 2 loaded with our Troyer Performance custom tuning.

So it's finally here, the long-awaited trade-in program to reward XCalibrator 1 owners - thanks to everyone who has waited patiently for this upgrade program to commence, we think you will be delighted at the net final cost & the end result of this program and owning a BRAND NEW XCalibrator 2 like everyone else!

Ok, so I am really contemplating this upgrade program. I have slight confusion here. Say I call up and place an order for the XCAL2, do I need to fill out tune sheets again, as I have them saved from whem I purchased the XCAL originally? It seems that when I order the XCAL2, it is like I am a new customer. You would create custom tunes again for the XCAL2, in the same fashion that the XCAL was done. Only I would be getting the XCAL2 at a "reduced" price. I could then wait for the XCAL2 to come in, and when I did receive it, I could take the XCAL tune off and send it back to SCT for the final rebate amount. Is this how it works? Sorry to sound like an idiot, but just wanted to get this straight before I make the final decision. What I am wondering also is if I ordered Monday, would that mean possible 2 weeks before I got XCAL2, tune with XCAL2, remove XCAL tune, then I could send in XCAL to SCT and I wouldn't have to go "tuneless" so to speak? Let me know please Mike. Thanks!

Hi reboots,

As I said, you need to contact us of the boards for details, please - I'm on a plane in a little bit for another R&D session, so I can't type out details.

On the CPW's, as long as we have our CURRENT version of the CPW's already on hand AND NOTHING ELSE HAS CHANGED, then no, you don't have to go thru that again. We'll try to make this as painless as possible.
Just give our staff a quick call for the specif details & your actual net final cost, & they will be happy to go over all of that - we had a meeting just prior to me posting that notification to everyone here, so that all our staff would know exactly how to handle that when everyone calls - & thanks ever so much for your understanding on this, it's great appreciated!

Gotta dash, trying to get the boards caught up before I hit the airport!

Any possibility of this for the 9100? I guess I missed out and am stuck with old unsupported technology.
