cool, I had a feeling you'd be posting, not that I am knocking anyone your just quick on the draw with the posts..... thanks I'll look it up, any help on how to narrow down the search process
ok again not knocking anyone but I can only find that he has experience and all the YEAH!! stories, I'm not trying to cause a fuss, I'm just curious. Is it from the info you give that makes it custom, but what if you motor runs a little leaner for whatever reason, or the other way around(in stock form). I'm not trash talking, I am just wondering and I dont want to call to bother them and hold them up for a question that is not deciding anything as I have already ordered mine 3 weeks ago. Again just curious.

LOL
Hi Hank,
My friend, I suggest you start by reading the detailed information you already have (because we sent it to you in the same email that contained your CPW's) that tells you all about that. Had you read that info, you would already know how that gets done.
By the way, you happen to have a BONE STOCK truck - you do not have a supercharger, no aftermarket MAF or fuel injector setup, no trick convoluted air intake tract or anything else that would change the A/F ratios ONE IOTA - so unless that truck already has a problem from the factory that must be addressed UNDER WARRANTY, you do not have an engine that "runs a little leaner." But you will know that for sure when you read & follow the instructions in the materials we sent you.
Having personally tuned thousands upon thousands of F-150's over many years, I can tell you that as long as there is nothing WRONG with the vehicle (bad O2's, exhaust leaks, dirty MAF, EGR problems, etc., etc., etc), and it is either BONE STOCK (like yours) or does not have modifications that are of a nature that would alter the A/F ratios, you don't get engines that "run leaner or richer" - not only that, but you would also get a light on the dash very quick if the engine was actually running outside of acceptable emissions limits for that model year.
In fact, in 2004 & newer F-150's (and a good number of earlier vehicles), they will throw a lean or rich code on the dash LONG before they ever actually go lean or rich!! We've discussed that fact quite a bit here on these boards.
The documentation you were sent and thus already have carefully describes & thoroughly instructs any novice in easily understood terms, **step-by-step**, exactly how, and specifically what, to do in order to datalog so you will have the info we would need to make any such adjustments to correct the A/F ratios - you were also provided with a nice spreadsheet template to send that info back to us so that we can make any such adjustments if they are actually needed. Since I happen to have your CPW's sheets right in from of me at this very moment (hope the realty business is going well down there in Miami, by the way), I know you got that info, as it came in the same email that contained the CPW's you filled out that I am looking at.
My friend, what I'm trying to tell you is to start by reading the info you already have - the information that you and every other Troyer Performance Custom Tuning customer gets sent.
We don't guess at tuning - we do it *right*, and can do that for virtually any vehicle that does not have obvious mechanical failures without ever having to see or have access to the vehicle - that is what a *world-class* tuner can do, and our skills are why our customers rave about us.
Once you thoroughly read all of the information you received from us previously along with the CPW's you filled out & sent back to us, if you still do not understand the process or have questions about it, etc., then please feel free to give us a call and we will go over that with you, Hank - we'll be happy to, as we want you to have a good understanding of how this works, my friend.
Thanks for your post, & have a great weekend!

You just monkey slapped my mouth shut my friend...I guess I shoulda looked over the paper work instead of stashing it from my girlfriend so she wouldn't find out about the money I just blew on the brand new truck I just bought.
Thanks Mike, and yes real estate is booming out here.
I know, I just looked at as these are the last 2 things I am ever going to buy for myself ever again (the other being my imco exhaust that I ordered) because I found out like the day after ordering my xcal that my g/f is pregnant, so I thought, let me hide it and just say the performance gains are from the exhaust.
