This is the big week, I will be waiting patiently at the front door everyday this week for the UPS truck. This has been the longest week of my life and its only Monday. Is anybody else expecting theirs this week?
I'm not sure if I have made this weeks list or not, but I am really trying to resist the urge to call down there. I feel don't want to bother them, but the suspence is killing me. I feel like an expecting father.
Anyway, my initial paperwork was messed up so I lost maybe a week. I think it was just my luck Mike then had to go out of town for a few days. I'll just try to be patient. I know it will be worth the wait.

My order still isn't suppose to ship till later this week, but I went ahead and had them charge my account so they could go ahead and ship my plugs. I figured I could spend this weekend doing the plugs, then try to knock the rest out the next week.
Hi Guys,
A LOT of people are getting their tuning this week - we're getting the backlog caught up pretty quickly now, so we're almost back to our normal lead times. Right now we're about a week longer than normal, so things are moving much quicker now.

Just called...guess I'm yet another week out? ...or did I get some "bad" information? Ordered on 6/22. I know you're busy, knew that before I ordered, but two weeks ago I was told it would ship last week, then last week I was told it would ship this week, now this week it'll ship next week. Ouch.

Dudes. That's because he is busy doing mine
Seriously though, you just have to wait. Do you want it done properly or a rush job on a Friday night?
Mine will be 3 weeks from now. Yes, it's killing me to wait that long but I wanted the best. That's why I ordered off Troyer and that's probably the reason you ordered from him too.
The fact that they are busy must prove something to you.
Which resturants do you eat in? The ones that are full all the time or the ones with zero customers?
So, to summarise, quit yer yappin' and let the man do his work

I'm not being impatient here, I'm just saying...I was told 10 day turn around, with one week delay. That's cool, but I'm now a week past THAT, and am being told it'll be yet ANOTHER week from now. Mike has said several times they are pretty well caught up or something to that effect, so I'm wondering what's up. It's not that I can't wait for something, it's that I have been scheduling my weekends / vacation time around this project based on what they are telling me at TP and so far it's gotten me even more behind. (Working 50 - 60 Hr. weeks and have yet to make it down to the lake to take care of our property.) That's my decision I know, but it doesn't help matters any ya know?
Hello Jackal,
Actually, your CPW's were returned to us on 6/24 - it doesn't matter when you place your order (which was 6/22), what matters is when we actually get the information on your vehicle, and that date was 6/24.
You were told that our normal turnaround time is 7-10 *business* days - not calendar days. Just as we have always said right here in my posts. So let's not get calendar days confused with *business* days, they are 2 different things. And as you know, from the issue that caused a few trucks to have no-starts and us having to work day and night with the manufacturer to get that problem's cause discovered and corrected, and then re-test everything again on numerous vehicles, that added roughly about a calendar week to that time frame.
What all of that actually means is that ideally, your tuning would have been completed *today* - and shipped out today - and then would have arrived in however long it takes to get from where we are to where you are.
So the fact is, you really aren't behind what we've told you all along, but you've been complaining about this here in post after post for quite some time now, despite the fact that we have given you accurate information to the very best of our ability - and despite the fact that these types of issues are required to be communicated privately, off the boards here - just as per the reminder in red that is at the top of the screen every time anyone makes a post, reminding everyone that that things like Tech Support, ORDER STATUS, etc., are to be communicated privately between the 2 parties and not posted here.
But because you keep complaining repeatedly in post after post here, I'm going to respond to you here just one more time on this - and it will be the last time I will say anything here to you on this specific matter.
The fact is, with the additional week delay due to that problem we had to re-test for (that had nothing to do with *us*), your order would ideally be shipping out *today*, and then arriving to you in whatever the shipping time is from today to wherever you are. Quite a bit different from what you have posted, and I think it's only fair to point out just exactly what the reality actually is.
It looks like your tuning should ship out on Monday, as things stand right now.
So the actual truth is, right now it looks like your order will be a whopping grand total of ONE business day later than we had estimated. ONE.
That's the scoop, my friend - if you have anything else you want to say about this, we'll be happy to speak with you, as always - you can reach us at our phone number which is listed below for your convenience.
I hope this helps your understanding on all of this, & have a great weekend!

Mike, I haven't complained in any other threads...I did respond to someone else's thread...sharing that I too have not gotten it yet, but went on to explain that I realized the delay and was expecting it this week. It was just a comment to help pass the time and share the experience with the other forum members. I posted 6/22 because that's when I put the order in as you stated...and I don't think you were waiting on my custom worksheets since there were so many before me. I got the blank worksheets from you guys on the 24th. and sent them back within 2 hours. Even in my above post I didn't mean to come off as complaining, as was merely stating the fact that I had been told it would ship last week and now next week, and was wondering when it may actually be. My bad on calendar days vs. business days. I was going off of what I was being told on the phone and assumed that when they said next week, they meant 7 calendar days. No need to get bent out of shape, I know you are the best, as everyone around here does...and I don't think my measley post could possibly influence anyone's decision to not go with TP or your custom tunes...there are simply too many positive things that have been said here to ever change that. I know what it looks like from your end, but believe me when I say I'm not trying to bash you or rush the job you do...I merely wanted to get a better idea of when the tunes might be completed. I didn't even expect you to take the time to dig my forum name up and associate it with my actual order, which I why I posted the date...to give you a general idea. Hope you don't feel like kicking my @ss too badly...my truck and I depend on you doing a good job on my tune.
Hi Jackal,
Thanks for your response, I appreciate it! And by the way (I have to say this as I'm not a very good writer and sometimes fail miserably in trying to get my perspective across properly, or without creating a wrong impression), I don't ever want you to feel that you can't or shouldn't "tell it like you see it" - that's what this place is all about.
I really wanted to try to explain it as best I understood it - and I have to confess, though we will never be able to be perfect, and we'll never manage to make 100% of everyone happy all the time, I just really hate it when we have someone that seems unhappy - I know all too well how it feels to be disappointed over something, and I don't like it myself.
You know how it is - over the years & with various vehicles, you deal with a lot of different people - different manufacturers, different vendors, different parts, etc., etc - and if we're not the best at what we do (or breaking our backs to be very close to it), then we feel we have not earned your business. So I wear my heart right on my sleeve - can't help it, I always have - because I really do want to try to make everyone happy, if at all possible - and whenever we have someone that isn't happy, I view that as a personal failure on my part, and the part of our company - but mostly me.
I say all that simply to explain that I did get the impression (and it's certainly fair, as you feel however you feel, of course!) that you were rather unhappy - and I hate to see you (or anyone) unhappy, you've been with us for some time, and it's our job to bend over backwards until we break (and then do it some more) to do everything in our power to make you happy.
So I hope I've somehow managed to get my point across without sounding like a jerk *or* making you feel that you can't say whatever you feel, as I really don't want that (believe it or not) -
The bottom line is, I just hope that we can manage to make you happy once you get your tuning, and it should ship out of here on Monday, my friend.

Have a great weekend,
Hey man, I haven't read this yet, but will do so shortly...real quick...where do I gap these Denso's at for my 2001 4.6?
Alright, read it...come on now Mike, you KNOW I'll be one happy SOB when that tunings done. LOL. Matter of fact I am MORE than happy with you and TP as it is...you hooked me up with an AWESOME price, you called me BEFORE I committed and didn't apply ANY pressure...your office ladies always answer the phone and are VERY polite and helpful...and after practically BEGGING them to go ahead and charge my account, they shipped me my plugs no problem, and no added charge. How could I not be happy with that? Your are probably the only person on the planet to posts in a way that I feel is complete and accurate...everyone else cranks out 1 - 2 half-@ss sentences and that's that. You're the man, period. Thank you and please accept my apologies.
