I just got a 05 f-15- with the 4.6l, i have had 4 v-10's prior, i miss my power.
I pull a travel trailer and want to know if the tuner will give me more power. i have had tuners in my excursion and f-350's and loved them. I read somewhere that the tuner only gives the 4.6 10 hp more. I am looking for other 4.6 owners inputs. thanks in advance for inputs.

Search around this forum a little bit because there’s a bunch of guys with 4.6’s that already have Troyer Performance custom tuning and have posted about their impression of how it works. I can say from first hand experience that the Xcal has added exceptional performance and drivability to my truck; Mike’s tunes did the trick!

 

i have just a basic tune on my chip in my 97F150 and i saw more then twice that amount of power gain out of it... so a tuner will see u more then just 10HP... maybee 10HP gain on 87 octane.. but 89-93 u will see a pretty good gain.
