custom tuning

Man this going to sound stupid! But, how can I get a custom tunning from Mike Troyer? I have a 1714 tuner and it is used on my 2004 screwcab 4x4 lariat. I am located in Florida so, is this a different tuner than the 1714 or is it the excaliber? I keep reading about how good Mike Troyer's tunning is, so what is it?

Hey SALTY6828

The 1714 Superchips tuner isn’t the same thing as the Xcalibrator although it is the best “off the shelf tuner” available for our trucks. The Xcalibrator is “custom tuned” specifically for your trucks PCM code and will net you approximately a 50% hp & torque gain over the 1714 if properly programmed. That’s where Troyer Performance comes into the picture. Mike is the “tune maestro” when it comes to F150’s because he specializes in them and can get you the most hp & torque gain that will be safe and sustainable. Like Marc says above, you need to give him a call and he’ll get you squared away. In the mean time read through this forum a little because there are, many post about Mike’s “custom tuning” and just how good it is!

where you at in FL? I'm on the space coast

HI Salty,

By simply giving us a quick call at our number listed below!

In every one of our posts here, you will see our contact info listed below each post in the signature line - we also run banner ads here, and have a web site as well - all of that info you can see just below this post, i our signature line.

By the way - our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 9am to 6pm Eastern - I think we need to send the Webmaster an update on our hours as they are listed in our vendor profile here, as we changed that a while back - I mention that only because of Marc's post on our hours, which changed a little while ago, and I think we simply haven't sent an update to the Webmaster here for our profile.

I hope that info helps, & we look forward to hearing from you!
