I'm so excited, and i just can't hide it!
I just ordered the Superchips 6600 tuner with the following tunes:
87 Performance
87 Tow
91 Performance
91 Tow
As well as an Airforce One Kit for my 2003 Screw
Then of course i call my muffler guy and tomorrow the old girl goes in for a new cat back from Magnaflow.
The truck was bone stock until today............lol
I just wish i could get Dyno time before i did the installs but the local Dyno is booked.
Anybody know if the airforce one cowling is show or go, does it actually keep the warmer air away from the intake filter?

Hi KOTG,
That AF1 throttle body cowling is for show only - it simply designed to close up the much larger gaps you get when you install virtually any aftermarket intake kit on those trucks. It's not intended to perform any specific *additional* performance enhancement over what the intake kit itself adds - it just makes those gaps at the bottom of the cowling much smaller, so that it looks "normal."
It was a very nice touch we asked AF1 for some years ago - and when we did, we found they already felt the same way and had it's design already underway at that time.
Congrats on your new mods!
