Thanks
Just want to say thanks to Mike for his customer service. He called me about my order, took the time to offer his suggestions on how to tune my L for best performance
. Mike will let you know when I get into the 12's.

Truth is, Mike only provided you with excellent customer service so he could get the chance to tune your truck in-person. I'm hoping he will take me along to assist.
Out of curiosity, where can you test your truck's 1/4 mile time in Grand Cayman? West Bay Road seems a bit too busy.

Hmmm, that's an *excellent* angle - if you're game Steve, I'm willing. We can both go down and relax - and maybe get around to tuning his truck in person!
Leighton is modifying his second Lightning and has made a couple of moves location-wise - on his last truck, we could only tune it for 90 octane where he was at before, but now he's got access to good higher octane fuels he tells us, and he's stepped up his modification level on this Lightning a bit higher than on the last one - so with good traction, he should get into the 12's.
But that does beg the question - where can he run those 1/4 mile times at? I don't know Grand Cayman like you guys do.......and obviously we're both long overdue to get down there, have a few drinks, relax & dump stress for a while.

Hold on guys do not start a war
You guys are more than welcome to pay us a visit here in Grand Cayman it is a little beat up at this point due to hurricane Ivan, but the government is working very hard to get it back to the way it was. I am quite impressed with the work thus far.
Mike, I would love for you, Steve and Anita to come here and relax but especially to tune my truck
Steve: Yes, West Bay is just a tad too crowded. We have a drag racing association here and the members have come together and made a (OK) 1/4 mile drag strip, From what I have heard there is a mustang running 11's on it. Did not witness it personally, but I know that there are a few evo's running in the 12's.
I am so thankful that here in Cayman I have access to 92 and 93
octane fuel. In Jamaica where I had my 01L, i only had access to 90 octane, which really sucked, but I had the roads for it. Now I have 93 octane and no road to hold WOT for long. Cant win them all. I will settle for the higher octane, its safer on the motor.
Anyway when you are guys are ready feel free to come here and relax you are more than welcome.

Excellent, glad to hear you've got a 1/4 mile track to run it on! I would have thought it might be 1/8th mile since land is at a premium, but it sounds like someone had their thinking caps on and did it right, going with a full length (proper) 1/4 mile track!
It would be nice for Steve & his wife and Anita & I to all come down & relax a bit - hope all is going well with the recovery efforts from the hurricane, & good luck at the track!
