chip or programmer

I have been away from the boards for some time now and have finally came back to surfing but now I have a question? Which is better computer chips or the programmer? I have had a "blue" Superchip that I purchased in October 2000 and have not had it out since I put it in. But as time goes it is time for a change and reading the boards I am wondering which is better? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks
Bobby

Hi Bobby,

The boards here are acting up right now, so I can't give you the kind of properly detailed response that I'd normally like to....

Briefly........your present chip still works fine, but if you want to upgrade, we can easily get you an average of 50% larger power & performance gains (maybe as much as double!) by doing a trade-up deal so you can get into our *custom* tuning a bit less expensively by getting something out of your present chip. We can do that either in a custom chip or in a custom programmer (even for a bone-stock vehicle the gains are much larger from our custom tuning), the performance results will be the same with either the custom chip or the custom programmer.

Feel free to use the SEARCH feature here to read some of our past more detailed posts on this, or just give us a call at our number listed below so we can go over all your options, costs, details, results, etc with you in proper detail.

Best of luck whatever you decide,
