Angry Programming problems w/Diablo chip

I have 4.6 non PI f150. I have added a vortech supercharger running about 14lbs through a custom designed mondo air-to-air intercooler. 90mm Pro-M MAS programmed for 42lb injectors, 75mm TB. I put a set of ported/polished SVO heads with Crower cams and am having problems programming it. My local shop tells me we need to take off the FMU and "de-program" Oxygen sensor and then "hard" program the chip manually through the entire RPM range. That means no feedback with changing air density or fuel flows and it makes me very nervous. Has anybody out there had to do something similar?

Get an SCT tune, a DYNOTUNE. A vehicle as modded as yours will be wasted with a mail order tune. Tuners cannot rish a lean AF ratio, and will make your truck run rich. FMUs are no good, for anything. Find a local SCT tuner.

Hi weck11,

If you'd like to get *proper* help with this, just give us a call - I tried uploading some tips for you, but the message server here is garbling it.
