I guess what’s changed is that BP owns Amoco now and controls the refineries.

wife works for bp here and says no changes to blends and whatnot

i had a custome tune set up for 93 octane on my 01 dodge ram- on 93 amoco ultimate- would ping like crazy- not on sunoco 93- proof right there- most likely when amoco was bought corners were cut- IN THE QUALITY OF FUEL in this case-phil

sunoco probably has the best fuel around but they arent as widespread as bp amoco so they dont have the demand for fuel that bp does so its not unlikely that when the amoco refineries are running behind they'll buy fuel from others which would be a quality issue unfortunatly for me sunoco's are few and far between around here so when i get a tuner ill probably have to stick with the 87 or 89 program
