Hi Yoman,
Glad you're enjoying your new 1714!
With regard to the changes made to the transmission program when you select "Superchips" settings for shifting, that reduces the amount of slippage inside the transmission - and one of the things that does is to generally extend the service life of the transmission's friction materials - the bands & clutches, primarily.
Now I can't tell you that your tranny is going to last "X" amount of time or "X" number of miles longer - but it's certainly going to help the bands & clutches to not have as much slippage going on. Slippage not only causes wear & tear on the bands & clutches, but it also generates a lot of heat - and heat is the Number 1 enemy of all automatic transmissions. So in general, yes, reducing slippage tends to help make the friction materials last longer.
Have fun!
