Hey Mike, 9100 vs. 5 program chip

Hey Mike i know you cant talk about pricing on this forum but i think you can answer this without violating any rules. I noticed that the 5 program custom chip is cheaper than the 9100 by alot, is this only because with the chip you cant change tranny shifts, tire sizes, speedo, etc.? Also is there any difference in the power of one over the other since they would both be a custom tune so as far as i know there shouldn;t be. I know this is probably a rudamentry(spelling) question for you but i was just wondering.

:santa: :santa:

ok

his custom tuning in the tuner versus the chips is the same i believe- and yes he can adjust shift characteristics in both- upgrades are easier with the tuner via email-phil

Thanx

Thank You for the response and the answer iw as expecting. I know that he will be able to alter the tranny shifts with the 5 program, but since it is a chip and not a tuner i wont be able to correct. I am thinking i might go with the 9100 over the 5 programs just becuase i dont think i will ever need 5 programs and the ability to change so many options might be worth the extra money expecially with a lift and 35's in sight.
