looking for siperchips distributor
Hi,
I have heard tons of good things about your company and I a know ready to order the package w/ the supertuner and air force one intake, it runs $590. I do have some questions though. I have a 4.6 supercab 4x4, is there going to be a noticeable difference. I want a little more pickup in my pickup. Also does the price include shipping and/or tax. Thnaks for the help.

Hi Bonefish,
Thanks for your post.
Things like this need to be discussed off the boards here - in other words, they are matters that are between vendor & customer in nature, thus the rules of F-150 Online require that we discuss them privately, between vendor & customer. So for matters having to do with pricing, shipping costs, Tech Support, etc., please give us a quick call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to get you the specific info you need, OK? Just letting you know for future reference, & thanks for your understanding on that.
Generally speaking, most of our combo deals include shipping - not all of them do, but most of them. When it's a combo you see on our web site, it usually tells you if shipping is included (I may have missed one here & there, but we usually include that info on the combos on our site).
Now in your case, because that one particular combo includes one of the standard "MAX" series Superchips Micro Tuners (this does NOT apply to ANY other products on our web site, only the standard Superchips "MAX" series Micro Tuners), AND because you are a registered member of F-150 Online, you will want to call that order in to us, because you will get an even *better* price that also includes shipping to anywhere in the 48 states!
Is there going to be a "noticeable" difference from those 2 modifications? I should say so! However, the reality is that depends on *you* - it also depends on what you mean by "noticeable." You see, many people are only thinking in terms of what they can feel in the seat of the pants - which immediately tells you they don't have experience modifying vehicles for more performance, as anyone with such experience knows better than to try to judge *any* performance modification by the seat of the pants - especially on a 2-3 ton pickup truck. Why? Because it's not any type of measurement, it's purely a subjective standard, and there are some vehicle owners that can't feel even a solid 30 HP gain at the rear wheels in a 2-3 ton pickup truck!
What I can tell you with absolute certainty is that yes, you *will* see significant power gains from that combo, and yes, you will see a significant reduction in 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, etc., in properly controlled back-to-back testing. So yes, the performance of your 4.6 truck will definitely be improved, those are the two best bang for the buck mods you can do (tuning & intake). But whether that is going to be what you call "noticeable" in the seat-of-the-pants feel or not we can't guarantee.
Most people rave about the difference from that combo, but every once in a while we'll see someone claim "I can't feel anything" - well, anyone saying that obviously never did any actual comparison - no before & after 0-60 times, or before & after 1/4 mile times, etc. Doing any of that will *immediately* show a very significant improvement in performance from those 2 modifications. Just remember, trying to judge performance mods by the seat of the pants feel just doesn't work really well in heavy vehicles like these. We even offer inexpensive tools you can use to actually measure before & after 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, braking distances, and many other aspects of performance, so our customer can actually make those comparisons - that way they *know* just what they really got.
The bottom line is yes, I think you'll be very happy with the result - the tuning and the intake are the Top 2 best bang-for-the-buck mods, so I think you'll be very happy.
I'll tell you what I would do if I were in your shoes - I would call us and have us do a special combo for you that includes the Air Force One intake and a hand-held tuner, but in this case, a *custom* version - we have a new hand-held tuner (the XCalibrator, it's not even up on our web site yet) that we can supply loaded with our *custom* tuning, and the Air Force One intake system, in a combo deal for the same price you saw, *including* the shipping to anywhere in the 48 states, too - and that will get you an even larger power & performance gain! Call us for details on that....................
I hope that info helps a bit, and that it doesn't cause you any confusion - please don't hesitate to call us to go over the details, or maybe go over a nice combo including the Air Force One and our custom tuning for maximum power & performance gains, OK?
Have fun & talk to you soon,
Thanks for your post.

Troyer Performance offers a special discount to F150Online members on the Max Micro Tuners...so if you want to order one, don't do it online. Instead, call them and let them know you are a member here, then they can give you the discounted price.
